The 1/8-scale 8IGHT 2.0 4WD Buggy Race Roller features over thirty revisions and improvements to the revolutionary 8IGHT buggy chassis. The 8IGHT 2.0 Buggy proved to be the fastest buggy in qualifying by taking Top Qualifying honors at the 2008 IFMAR 1/8 Buggy World Championships. The chassis on the 8IGHT 2.0 has been extended an additional 2mm to provide increased stability and speed. The chassis’ Tuned Flex Technology provides significant handling gains by responding precisely to changes in the terrain without sacrificing balance and grip. Steel chassis droop stops have also been added to ensure consistent down stop settings. The 8IGHT 2.0 includes updated steering geometry which features a servo saver with increased consistency. The Villain EX uses a water-cooled marine version of our powerful EVX-2 electronic speed control. At low speeds, the fully proportional EVX-2 Marine ESC allows precise dockside maneuvering in forward and reverse. Lay on the throttle and the EVX-2 pushes over 14-volts of power from two battery packs into the twin Titan® 550 Marine fan-cooled motors. The EVX-2 Marine is designed and manufactured by Traxxas to ensure the highest level of quality and support. Now includes Traxxas High-Current Connectors!

The quest for ultimate speed began with the battery connector. As today’s batteries store more and more energy inside their cells, traditional battery connectors became a roadblock, unable to deliver all the energy the battery is capable of outputting. SMOOTH

The Villain EX is equipped with a new propeller design. These new surface-piercing propellers are engineered to operate with speed and efficiency using full-size boat technology. The propellers are counter-rotating to prevent torque roll and eliminate the need for drag-inducing trim tabs. The dual, steerable outdrives direct the propeller's thrust for ultra-precise steering response. The trim angle of the outdrives can be adjusted to change how high the bow rides in the water.

Some boat designs, such as hydros, require that the water be glass-smooth to run or a small wave will catch the sponson and flip the boat. In the real world, the wind blows and water gets choppy. The Villain EX can run in rough water that leaves hydros and other designs back at the dock. The Villain EX utilizes a proven 31-inch deep-V hull design that slices through rough, choppy water with ease. The proper weight balance and low center of gravity help keep it upright providing unsurpassed stability. Molded strakes in the hull, along with the counter-rotating propellers, allow higher turning speeds.
RELIABLE

Usually, one of the biggest challenges for electric boat enthusiasts is keeping the electronics dry. Not so with the Villain EX. It's quipped with a sealed radio box to prevent water from damaging the sensitive electronics. Everything is encased, even the steering servo. The plastic cover uses a Twist Lock® fastener for easy access and positive sealing against the rubber gasket. There are no flimsy, taped-down hatches to bother with. You can count on the performance from the tough, molded ABS hull and durable, proven drivetrain. The BEC circuit in the electronic speed control maintains steering control, even when the batteries are nearly discharged. Built-in foam flotation provides extra security by keeping the Villain EX afloat if it should ever accidentally flip over.

The TRX 3.3 Racing Engine is famous for its broad, linear output that makes Extreme Horsepower available practically anywhere in the rpm range. Hammer the throttle at any speed and the T-Maxx completely shreds the ground underneath. Brutal bottom-end torque rips massive wheel-standing launches that swell to top speeds soaring past 45mph! The new extra-large dual-stage Traxxas air filter allows increased air flow to the TRX 3.3 Racing Engine, breathing in even more horsepower and torque.
Larger filtering capacity also delivers consistent tuning during long running sessions and between maintenance intervals. At the opposite end, the Resonator dual-chamber Maxx pipe provides an average peak torque increase of 16% over the standard Maxx pipe, and a 10% increase in total power across the whole range. Full mirror polish adds that final touch.
Powerful New Steering
With T-Maxx's bigger, grippier tires and the ability to go even deeper off-road, you need steering authority you can count on. The new T-Maxx 3.3 is equipped with a new bellcrank steering system with an integrated servo saver. Sealed Differentials

Extended Wheelbase Chassis
Revo is most recognizable for its unique and innovative suspension design. The key to Revo's remarkable handling is in the rockers. Revo's patent-pending linkage-based suspension not only delivers the most suspension travel of any monster truck, it constantly varies both the spring force and damping to match suspension movement. Over small bumps, the suspension is light and responsive, reacting instantly to the surface. Compress the suspension over large jumps and the rocker geometry progressively increases the spring force and shock damping. In an instant, the suspension automatically becomes stiffer when you need it most. Ride height, progressive rate, and damping can all be fine tuned independently of the other. To go along with the torquey 16.8-volt EVX-2 dual-motor power system, key improvements have been engineered into the suspension, driveline, chassis, and electronics to make this the toughest, most versatile E-Maxx ever. The new E-Maxx is equipped with Revo® sealed pivot ball suspension; dual-servo steering; an all-new transmission; Revo sealed differentials; a new, longer chassis; and waterproof electronics. And that’s just the start. E-Maxx is equipped with sealed electronics that eliminate boundaries and let you drive where you want to drive. E-Maxx lets you blaze new trails through water, mud, snow and other wet-running conditions that wouldn’t have been possible before. Since water is no longer the enemy, E-Maxx opens up a whole new world of 4x4 adventure and fun.
E-Maxx is equipped with an all-new transmission that’s been engineered to handle nearly 2 ½ times more torque than the original, and yet do it in a more compact package. Extra-wide gears, smart use of steel components, and the Revo®-Spec Torque-Control™ slipper all combine for the strength needed to handle the extreme power and torque that’s possible with today’s battery and motor technology. The design positions the motors closer to the chassis for a lower cg and improved handling. An optional bolt-in two-speed is available for shift-on-the-fly gearing options. Revo-Spec large diameter sealed driveshafts and sealed differentials are used for massively increased torque handling and long-lasting performance. Since the diffs are completely sealed, they can be fine-tuned with different oil viscosities to adjust the limited-slip action.

The waterproof Traxxas EVX-2™ is optimized to deliver massive power from dual 7-cell battery packs. The EVX-2 packs a serious punch, belting out over 16 volts of power to the twin 550 high-torque motors. Titan 550 motors feature 30% longer motor armatures than a standard 540 size motor for monster big block torque. An internal fan helps keep the motors running at optimal temperatures for maximum power. Mash the throttle for wheelies on demand and absolutely mind-bending monster truck action that only E-Maxx can deliver. Designed by Traxxas, the EVX-2 features three drive profiles, thermal shutdown protection, and Traxxas high-current battery connectors. Extended Wheelbase, Low CG Chassis
The chassis design is all new with 30mm of increased wheelbase for improved stability. The new battery compartments position the batteries lower, angled in towards the center of the truck for improved handling and cornering stability. The new stronger chassis braces work together with a new center skid plate to greatly enhance chassis strength and torsional rigidity.
Easy, Fast Battery Installation
